Sefira Project will actively participate in the Accent Plus Symposium in Urbino that will be held from 17 to 20 September 2013. Among the scientific Comittee of this important international event there are several academic members of Sefira Consortium as Prof. Yuri Kazepov (Urbino) Prof.Michela Maione (Urbino) and Dott. Sandro Fuzzi (CNR) with the aim of implementing the integration among different scientific disciplines to face complex environmental and social challenges.
Accent-Plus Network is one of the main stakeholders and partners of the Sefira Collaborative Project that started on June 2013.
As a regular gathering of the whole European science community involved in atmospheric composition and climate change research, this event will provide a unique opportunity and focus for research. The goals of the meetings are to promote the integration and collaboration of the relevant scientific communities and to establish a constructive interaction with policy-makers. This edition of the Symposium has been organised in collaboration with the EU funded projects in the field of Atmospheric Composition Change (PEGASUS, ECLAIRE, ECLIPSE, ACTRIS, InGOS, APPRAISAL and SEFIRA) and the link with the most important international activities/projects (e.g., iCACGP, IGAC, iLEAPS, SOLAS, GAW, etc.) will ensure exchange with the international (extra-European) scientific community.
The Symposium will consist of plenary oral presentations, poster sessions and special policy related sessions. Sefira Project will contribute with two collective works paper and poster regarding a mixed methods analysis of the Green Week 2013 and the Discrete Choice Model Analysis application to Air Quality policies that will presented by two young researchers from Sefira Project Unit of Urbino: Dr. Eva Valeri and Dr. Paolo Giardullo.
