June 2013 Green Week and expert stakeholders survey

The Sefira Project will start its activities during the Green Week 2013 in Bruxells, from the 4th to the 7th of June. Its research team will be present with the stand number 10 in the showroom of FP7 financed project on Air Quality. Sefira will share its spaces with one of its most important stakeholder, the project Appraisal.

The project researchers will carry out semi-structured interviews with expert stakeholders during the events and will collect the results short structured survey that will be distributed in 4000 copies to the participants of the Green Week.

The objective of this first exploratory research is to help identifying the relevant issues around which the CATI interviews in 5 European countries (Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Sweden, Poland) will be carried out.

Socio Economic implications For Individual Responses to Air Pollution policies in EU +27

SEFIRA has the objective of creating a European coordination of transdisciplinary scientific and socio-economic resources in order to support the review and implementation of air quality legislation by the European Commission (EC) led by DG Environment. SEFIRA will coordinate some of the best scientific and socio-economic resources and will review air quality policies and legislation at the interface between environmental, economic and social sciences in order to achieve a deeper understanding of these complex issues. The main fields involved in the action will be atmospheric sciences, environmental and legal sociology, anthropology, geography and economics.
