Progress of the Sefira Project: Focus on the discrete choice analysis pilot

As the Review of the EU Air Policy is ongoing, Sefira Project, with a joint effort between its partners, is advancing in the pilot study on the evaluation of individual acceptability of air quality measures.

Here you can download the most recent presentation of WP 4 advancement presented on in Helsinki on May 6th during  the 43th meeting of the Task Force on Integrated Assessment Modelling (TFIAM) of the Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution.

Individual behaviour and cultural aspects of air pollution policies have been emerging in the international scientific and istitutional debate as important features of a more effective integrated approach to environmental threats.

Socio Economic implications For Individual Responses to Air Pollution policies in EU +27

SEFIRA has the objective of creating a European coordination of transdisciplinary scientific and socio-economic resources in order to support the review and implementation of air quality legislation by the European Commission (EC) led by DG Environment. SEFIRA will coordinate some of the best scientific and socio-economic resources and will review air quality policies and legislation at the interface between environmental, economic and social sciences in order to achieve a deeper understanding of these complex issues. The main fields involved in the action will be atmospheric sciences, environmental and legal sociology, anthropology, geography and economics.
